It is apparent in the whole of our human history that although we possess rational faculties, they are by no means the most pervasive or prevalent elements that define human nature. We see far more often evidence that the rational faculties possessed by man remain subordinate to some different motive. Logic is of use to man in affairs of love, of survival, of creativity and the like --- and it is far more conceivable that they developed in us as tools to navigate our reality, rather than as self-motivated abilities.
The above statement, despite my belief in it, is an irrational distillation precisely of the sort which I aim to explain herein. The diagram below...
...Shows the process of disassembly. On the left the world is fed into Ti (the cross in the middle) and what emerges on the right side is what survived the scrutiny of the filter. As I've explained elsewhere, Ti is a subtractive process. What that means is that it is motivated to deconstruct asymmetry, contradiction and anomalies. It is only by the byproduct of its subtractive property that we receive a construct ("framework"), for every time some information is distilled, what remains on the opposite side is small but well structured. After many years of this, the Ti type will have had enough data filtered that the successful or approved databits begin to form --- by sheer volume -- architectures and models. With the help of the Pe function, these remainders better congeal and connect.
This is the essential quality that leads to Ti building crystalline castles. Examples of these castles are taxonomies, grammar/semantic structures, philosophies, epistemologies, mathematics, and other theoretical models --- which no doubt may be formed in part with the support of Te users, but I'll omit this tangent for now.
Why chaff away information?
This is where irrationality is seen evident in the process. It is illogical to discard information, and hope to create from this a comprehensive understanding of that ball of mess on the left. Yet Ti does it anyways. This is partly because of our human limitations in processing, and partly because of the role of our judgment faculties as a species. The original function of our logic was to distill reality for us in such a way that the information gleaned is of some use. And in this case, Ti operates as a modeling process that can give us a sense of the bare essential components underpinning reality, at the expense of holistic consideration.
Just as Te suffers a sort of logistical disassembly process, Ti suffers a conceptual disassembly process. Skepticism is its primary disposition, and any optimism we may see arises from Ne/Se or from Fe.
What does this mean?
Awareness of what our mental processes are doing is critical and very important to personal growth. It is what helps us relativize our experience and escape the high horse we are all born in. It is both humbling and uplifting at the same time. If the Alemin has begun this process of self-awareness of their own Ti, the sort of realizations that are experienced are:

- "My model is not reality itself. My castle is a proxy."
- "My model of reality is formed in part by convenience; in a way that can make sense of things to me due to my own limitations"
- "My model is partly aesthetic and bias toward symmetry and order. Reality may be more convoluted than this."
